Ryder Cup Team Europe
Colin Montgomerie is watching the qualifying campaign very closely as the make-up of his 12 man team begins to take shape with each tournament. Monty will no doubt be hoping for a mixture of experience and youth for his team at Celtic Manor and already there are players making their move on the European Tour.
The Europeans will be looking for players that do not crack under the pressure cooker atmosphere of Ryder Cup Matches. Some of the experienced proven players in Ryder Cups include the likes of Sergio Garcia, Lee Westwood and Padraig Harrington and each of those three are expected to be on the first tee at Celtic Manor as well.
Other names performing well at this stage include the likes of Ross Fisher who is the World Match-Play Champion and Simon Dyson who is the form of his life so far and desperate to make Colin Montgomerie's team.
