05/11 - 2008 HSBC Champions Golf Odds
The 2008 HSBC Champions Golf odds has defending champion and world Number 2, Phil Mickelson at the head of the market at around the 9/1 mark. The tournament marks the start of the Europeans PGA Road to Dubai' competition, and has effectively replaced the European Order of Merit title, won only last week for the 2008 tour, by Swede, Robert Karlsson.
30/10 - Volvo Masters Betting
With the year's majors done and dusted, the top players on the European Tour will be turning their attention to the Order of Merit standings ahead of this week's Volvo Masters in Spain. The tournament, which starts on Thursday (October 30th) is the last event on this season's schedule and a final opportunity to gain places in the all-important money list. A three-way battle for the Order of Merit crown will be fought by current leader Robert Karlsson (12/1), this year's double major winner Padraig Harrington (10/1) and third place Lee Westwood (16/1), who is still in with a slim chance of nicking the title.
28/10 - Volvo Masters Golf Odds
The Volvo Masters Golf Odds for this weeks final golf tournament of the European season that takes place at the prestigious Valderrama Golf Club this week, has Spaniard Sergio Garcia as favourite to win. It is little wonder why, particularly after the manner in which Garcia won the Spanish Masters last week. He looked to be at his absolute best and playing in Spain again this week should do him no harm at all.
14/10 - Portugal Masters Golf Odds
The Portugal Masters Golf odds for this weeks Portugal Masters betting European tournament sees the very consistent, Robert Karlsson as favourite to win the event for the first time. Karlsson comes into the event having won both the last two European tour events and is in the form of his life. In between his wins, Karlsson was one of the more successful members of the vanquished European Ryder Cup team. He is a 9/1 shot and leads England's Lee Westwood in the betting. Karlsson also leads Westwood in the European Order of Merit and knows that a win here will be good enough to probably win his first Varden trophy.
07/10 - Madrid Masters Golf Odds
The Madrid Masters golf odds has Germany's Martin Kaymer installed as favourite just ahead of Spain's Ryder Cup player, Miguel Angel Jiminez. The European Tour has only 4 weeks left to run and this tournament will be played at Madrid's Club de Campo, a course that demands accuracy due to the small size of the tree lined greens. Jiminez is the highest rank player from the European Order of Merit title and a win for him here would see him placed in a challenging position to win the title, although current leader Robert Karlsson will be hard to pass. Surprisingly however, Jiminez has not won on Spanish soil for over 10 years. Karlsson however misses this weeks event after winning back to back tournaments.
